Welcome to WOW-ME

Women on Work Market Maximising Empowerment (WOW-ME) is a KA210 Erasmus+ project that aims to empower women re-entering the workforce, particularly those facing disadvantages or with limited opportunities. Launched in February 2024, the project focuses on sharing innovative career guidance and empowering training methods, including new digital tools, innovative narrative, transformative coaching and design thinking approaches. It will create an online toolkit for trainers and job seekers.

Activities

At the core of the WOW-ME project are four transnational Learning, Teaching, and Training Activities (LTTAs) designed to equip partner organizations with the skills and knowledge to effectively train women re-entering the workforce. Each partner hosts one LTTA to teach the other partners in their specific innovative approach. Based on the LTTAs, the partners will develop a comprehensive toolkit for training women in digital skills and career development. This collaborative approach ensures all partners are equipped to effectively support women’s successful re-entry into the workforce.

Digital Skills & AI (Czech Republic):

Partners learn how to train women in using IT tools, mobile apps, and strategies for work-life balance with technology, laying the groundwork for future activities.

Narrative & Employer Personas (Spain):

Partners gain expertise in helping women craft strong job applications through personal narrative development and understanding employer expectations.

HR Strategies for Women (Slovakia):

Partners discover best practices for educating women using storytelling and experiential learning, along with effective HR strategies to support women entering or re-entering the workforce.

Design Thinking for Employability (Norway):

Partners learn how to utilize design thinking and communication skills training to enhance women’s employability and develop methods specifically suited to support those returning after maternity leave.

Empowering Women, Building Futures: WOW-ME Transforms Careers

Leveraging the power of collaboration, the WOW-ME project embodies the spirit of “Empowering Women, Building Futures: WOW-ME Transforms Careers.” Through a unique blend of digital skills training and support services, WOW-ME equips women with the tools and confidence they need to thrive in the modern workforce.

The Consortium

Women on Work Market Maximising Empowerment (WOW-ME) is an Erasmus+ project spearheaded by a consortium of four diverse organizations: EA, a Spanish SME, contributes with its expertise in innovation research and science communication to support women in reinventing themselves. Rovnovážka, a Czech NGO, brings its expertise in education and training for disadvantaged people to the project. Norsensus, a Norwegian NGO has a proven track record in media & digital literacy, advocacy, and civic participation. FutuReg, a Slovakian NGO specializes in regional development and supporting families, youth, and children.

SME – Spain – Consortium Leader

EA applies a mission-based rather than a purpose-based narrative approach. Instead of waiting to figure out their entire life purpose, job seekers can define tangible missions, such as finding a new job. These tangible missions then become the chapters in the book of their life’s purpose.

NGO from Czech Republic

Rovnovážka is an NGO that fights for equal opportunities in employment and believes that women deserve equal employment and wage opportunities as men. The organization provides support and opportunities in personal, social, and working life focusing on supporting disadvantaged groups of people.

NGO from Norway

Norsensus Mediaforum is a non-profit media association that aims to improve media and digital literacy, advocacy, and civic participation within society. The association’s primary focus is on civil society capacity building and the empowerment of individuals, particularly socially deprived groups.

NGO from Slovakia

FutuReg’s main goal is to promote the development of cultural values and raise awareness around children’s rights, promote the development of a healthy and happy childhood, and promote participation in civil society and the region as a whole with the aid of science, research, and informal education.
